Product Description

Come learn to make amazing fruit pies with us! In this class, you’ll learn to make pie crust, roll out dough, weave lattice, choose your fruit for pie filling (and pre-bake it if necessary), flute your pie shell, and bake your pie properly (a vastly under-rated key to making delicious pies.) There will also be snacks!

You will need to bring:

-Clothes you don’t mind getting flour on (we’ll provide aprons but stuff happens…)
-Closed-toed shoes (we’re in a professional commercial kitchen, guys!)
-A can-do attitude (you’ll be a pro in no time!)

You will go home with:
-A disk of dough to use at a later date
-A pre-bake you can use at home.
-A medium-sized pie (4-5 servings)

This class will take place on January 15th, 2017 from 10am-1pm at our kitchen, which is located at 2501 Phelps Street in San Francisco’s Bayview neighborhood. You can park on the street or at the Foods Co. next door. We’re in a nondescript building that says “MURATORE” on the outside. If you have any problems finding us, give us a call at 415.617.9774.
