Sorry for the radio silence over the past few months. We’ve been busy with our own projects and trying to keep up with the demands of pie-making and entrepreneurship. As an update, we’re now at the Noe Valley Farmer’s Market on Saturdays and in October we’re at Off the Grid’s Picnic at the Presidio on Sundays. We’ve also been pretty busy gearing up for Thanksgiving, and just launched our Thanksgiving Pre-order site.
As always, we’ve been spending time getting to know our farmers better and connect with the community. Recently, we gave a class at 18 Reasons and made a guest appearance at the Boys and Girls Club, and we’ve had the privilege of getting back to San Joaquin and Calaveras Counties a few times in the past month or so. (See photo of me rifling through a giant tub of apples at the Smit Ranch, where Clazien Smit told me all about her journey to becoming an organic apple/cherry/blueberry farmer. What an inspiration!)
We’re still delivering pies all over SF and we’ve finally started shipping. Only Salty Honey Walnut, Pecan, and Bittersweet Chocolate Pecan for now, but it’s a start!
