On the docket this week: More Pie.

Ok, pie fans, I’m back on the job. Between the pot pie catering shenanigans, our usual sweet pie production, our appearance at last Saturday’s Berry Bash, my dad’s funeral in Stockton, and the 150 wedding hand pies/even more birthday dessert pies we made, last week was one for the record books. I kind of still can’t believe we made it through. Shout-outs are in order:

First and foremost, I’d like to thank my business partner/best friend/roommate, Anna. Every day I’m in awe of how great she is. My dad may have liked her more than any of his biological children, and his passing was as hard on her as it was on any of us, but she held down the fort last week like a champ.

Also, thanks this week to the good people at ZeroCater and TaskRabbit for the help with deliveries and to the Wise Sons Deli guys for doing our farmer’s market pickups. Totes heart you!

And finally, thanks again to all of our friends and customers for the outpouring of support. I can’t say that I’m surprised, but the love is moving nonetheless.
